The European war machine received a fresh impetus after the launch of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The war, its continuation and rumors of escalation are fueling militarization programs, significant increase in the defense fund and national spending, Strategic Compass, promotion of the defense industry’s investment appeal and its blatant greenwashing.
